Collection NADCAP Special Process Certification Scope Overview
NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is a certification program jointly initiated by major US aerospace and defense industry contractors, the U.S. Department of Defense, SAE, and other organizations. It is administered by PRI (Performance Review Institute). Currently, approximately 80 aerospace prime contractor subscribers recognize NADCAP, and over 2,000 suppliers worldwide have obtained NADCAP certification.
NADCAP covers 12 major commodity areas plus general requirements. Each commodity has multiple sub-items (slash sheets). Suppliers select their accreditation scope based on their actual business operations.
