NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program), initiated by global aerospace giants including Boeing, Airbus, and COMAC, is administered uniformly by the Performance Review Institute (PRI). Unlike general quality system certifications such as ISO9001 and AS9100, NADCAP focuses on high-risk critical processes in the aerospace sector and serves as a mandatory entry requirement for high-end manufacturing supply chains.
It covers specialized process domains including: heat treatment, welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), chemical processing, surface treatment, composite materials, and additive manufacturing.
