What is ESG?

ESG is the abbreviation of Environmental, Social and Governance in English. It is an enterprise development concept and enterprise evaluation standard that fully pays attention to the non-financial performance of enterprise environment, society and governance. Based on ESG evaluation, investors can evaluate the correlation between their investment behavior and the contribution of enterprises in promoting sustainable economic development and fulfilling social responsibilities by observing the ESG performance of enterprises.

· Environmental aspects: carbon and greenhouse gas emissions, environmental policies, waste pollution and management policies, energy use/consumption, use and management policies of natural resources, especially water resources, biodiversity, water management, etc

· Social aspects: occupational health and safety, employee rights and interests protection, diversity and equality of opportunity, labor norms, product responsibilities, labor standards, labor relations, consumer rights and interests protection, employee participation, etc

· Governance: corporate governance, corruption and bribery policies, anti-unfair competition, risk management, tax transparency, fair labor practices, ethical code of conduct, accounting standards, board composition, talent training and reserve
